Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. Her previous roles included a presidential candidate and an anchor on TV at MSNBC. She is also frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and an earlier co-host on the show The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear in May 2021 that they would be leaving the show to start their own project, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball co-hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast along with Kyle Kulinski. She has also appeared as a guest on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. In 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball is able to attribute her interest in politics to being the mother of 2008's primary elections. In addition, she viewed the US election results while living in Jordan. She observed how it affected the people of Jordan and thereby gained an appreciation for the global implications of US politics. She was a senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district in the year 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. From June 2012 until July 2015, she was co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
